RV Sales Consultant

Job Description:

As an RV industry leader, North Trail RV Center is always looking for new and better ways to enhance your RV and outdoor experience. North Trail RV Center is a big place, just like the great outdoors. We make it our priority to equip you for it. We've got an award-winning team already, but there's always room for more!

As an RV Sales Consultant you will be responsible for facilitating the marketing and sales of new and used motorhomes and to ensure that every customer receives the best customer service possible. Must be willing to travel for trade shows and or training and other work related requirements. This a commission based position with unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and maintain relationships with customers
  • Selling new and pre-owned RVs
  • Maintain strong knowledge base of all new makes and models
  • Complete all required product training
  • Constant follow up with customers from all sources, phone, walk-ins, internet, etc.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude (Dress Code)
  • Attend trade shows along with other events when needed
  • Manage customer retention in  Motility's Infinity / SYS2K
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform complete unit demonstrations and test drives
  • Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles
  • Occasional stooping and bending
  • Ability to lift/pull/push up to 45 pounds
  • Normal range of hearing and vision

Required Education, Experience & Skills :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license with good standing record

RV Alignment Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified RV Alignment Technician to join our North Trail RV Center team.

Alignment Technicians are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly aligned. This is a critical service that helps to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles on the road. Alignment technicians commonly work with heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and other specialized equipment to realign wheels or axles after they have been improperly aligned by drivers or other factors. Alignment technicians must be highly skilled in their field. They must know how to use all relevant equipment and tools correctly and safely. They also need to understand how each component of a vehicle's suspension system works so that they can properly align it.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Inspecting tire wear and measuring tread depth to determine when tires need to be replaced
  • Inspecting vehicles for alignment issues and repairing them as needed using specialized tools and equipment
  • Performing wheel alignment using computerized alignment machines
  • Inspecting vehicle suspension components to ensure they are working properly to support the weight of the vehicle
  • Determining the causes of alignment problems by inspecting tires, wheels, and suspension components for signs of damage or wear
  • Inspecting vehicle suspension systems to ensure they are working properly
  • Recommendation of repair options based on inspection findings
  • Measuring wheel alignment angles and adjusting them as required to ensure proper tracking
  • Installing new tires onto vehicles when needed based on alignment issues identified during inspection

Requirements:

  • Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
  • Prior experience as alignment and / or service technician, preferably at an RV dealership
  • Understands and complies with federal and state regulations
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports any safety issues to management

Pay rate is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
Salary range - $20-$50/hour

RV Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified RV Technician to join our North Trail RV Center team.

RV techs know a little bit about everything-electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you can do any one of these, we'll teach you the rest! To get started as a new RV tech in our dealership, you don't need specific RV experience. But you do need to be handy, dedicated, responsible and professional. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs who see the value in a good day's work for a good day's pay.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Examine and diagnose RV problems
  • Discuss repairs with shop foreman or RV service advisor
  • Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman
  • Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
  • Complete story and / or documentation for client repairs
  • Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees
  • Attend company and factory training
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Requirements:

  • Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
  • Understands and complies with federal and state regulations
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports any safety issues to management
  • Preferred 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Valid driver license

Pay rate is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.

RV Chassis and Diesel Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified RV Diesel Technician to join our North Trail RV Center team.

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic for our shop. Several years of diesel and gas engine experience is preferred. RV or dealership experience is also preferred. The qualified candidate, above all, must demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and be accurate and efficient when performing work as outlined on repair orders.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Duplicate, diagnose and repair full range of automotive service issues found on DIESEL vehicles including those of all electrical systems, engine, transmission, suspension, braking system and emission systems
  • Use shop equipment and diagnostic equipment with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures
  • Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis and testing
  • Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how DIESEL vehicles' components work and interact
  • Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
  • Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicate with Service Advisors
  • Accurately complete repair orders and inspect diesel vehicles for safety concerns
  • Other items as deemed necessary by management

Requirements:

  • Understands and complies with federal and state regulations
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports any safety issues to management

RV Auto Body Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified RV Collision Center Technician to join our North Trail RV Collision Center team.

Local RV Collision Center has an immediate opening for a Collision Center Auto Body Tech. An ideal candidate will be an experienced RV Auto Body Tech who is a self-motivated team player, hard-working, professional and efficient.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform duties as assigned by management
  • Review estimate provided and repair unit as written
  • File, grind and sand surfaces and insure quality repair
  • Plan repairs to avoid waste and the need to rework later in the process
  • Maintain parts/materials in an organized manner

Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance required
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to start ASAP
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a constant changing environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic
  • Great communication skills
  • Candidate must have own tools

RV Parts Coordinator

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified RV Parts Coordinator to join our North Trail RV Parts Center team.

Local RV Parts Center has an immediate opening for a RV parts Coordinator. An ideal candidate will be an experienced, organized, a self-motivated team player, hard-working, professional and efficient.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide efficient and timely processing of parts and orders
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to locate parts and information at a variety of locations
  • Organization of current inventory
  • Keep inventory fully stocked
  • Ordering and receiving parts

Qualifications:

  • Basic parts knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current Driver's license
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to start ASAP
